Stewart MosherStewart’s 38-year law enforcement career spans the states of North Carolina and Florida. In 2016, he retired from the Broward Sheriff’s Office with the rank of Sergeant after a 26-year tenure assigned to the Forensic Services – Crime Scene Unit. While doing so, he worked as a unit detective and a division supervisor.
Stewart was a state certified law enforcement officer and instructor. While serving in the crime scene unit his forensic expertise surrounded crimes specific to persons with serious injury, death investigations and law enforcement involved shooting incidents. Stewart has led and coordinated the forensic investigations involving the assassination of thirteen law enforcement officers during his career. |
He maintains his affiliation with the International Association for Identification (IAI) and the Florida Division of the IAI. He is also a past advisor for the Law Enforcement Innovation Center at the University of Tennessee where he is a graduate of The National Forensic Academy, Session VII. Mr. Mosher currently works cold cases pro bono as requested.
