Sydney KoeppelSydney Koeppel is a civilian supervisor for the intelligence and analysis section of Baltimore Police Department’s Crime Gun Intelligence Center Unit. She has worked for BPD for four years, and has been with CGIC that entire time. Sydney came to BPD at the very start of the CGIC grant, and has been integral in developing the CGIC that exists today. The unit is charged with both analyzing and investigating strings of cases that are connected through the use of the same firearm. Before working for BPD, Sydney worked for the New York City Police Department as a Crime Analyst in the 18th (Midtown North) Precinct.
Sydney is a graduate of George Mason University with a dual bachelor's degree in Criminology and Psychology with a minor in Intelligence Analysis, and has her master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. |
