aMY WedgeAmy Wedge is a freelance forensic artist and medical illustrator with a degree in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art and an MSc in Forensic Art and Facial Identification from Dundee University. During her time studying at the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification she was trained in facial reconstruction, age progression, post-mortem depiction, and forensic photography.
Coming from an illustration background Amy has strong art-based skills that can be translated into a variety of applications. She is fluent in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as having developed high levels of traditional drawing skills using graphite and ink. |
Since graduating from Dundee in 2017 Amy has obtained human remains training certification and contributed illustrations and a chapter to manual and textbook on forensic photography techniques. She currently resides in Scotland as a self-employed forensic artist and illustrator with a particular interest in missing persons cases.
