When a case is submitted to Cold Case Foundation the first thing that happens is the case is assigned to our Triage Team. Key among their responsibilities is gathering all the information necessary for us to do our work. Next our analysts will begin the arduous process of compiling the information into our format so that the case analysis can begin. From there the team goes about determining what assets should be assigned (investigative specialties, forensic experts, victims support, etc.) based on the particulars of the case.
