EXPERIENCE
Butch Rabiega served in the FBI for over two decades. During his tenure, Mr. Rabiega served as a Crime Analyst and Intelligence Analyst. As a member of the FBI’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP), he reviewed and analyzed violent crime cases and reports submitted to the FBI’s ViCAP program from law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. Mr. Rabiega worked in an analytical/investigative capacity for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for over two decades. Additionally, he served in the United States’ Marine Corps. Mr. Rabiega received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice from Bluefield College, Bluefield, Virginia, and received extensive training as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst for the FBI. |

Butch gained extensive knowledge and expertise in analyzing violent crime, missing persons, and unidentified body cases. The depth of his research, training, and hands on analytical experience gave him greater insight in developing new methodologies in how information, forensics, and technology can be utilized to drive and expand investigations. During his career, Mr. Rabiega:
Mr. Rabiega examined the intelligence obtained during these investigations to identify potential lead value information, which was then provided to the task force. He would assess the investigating agencies analytical capabilities and recommended (as necessary) changes to enhance their analysis and collection capabilities He would make recommendations to law enforcement agencies as to the utilization of new and evolving investigative strategies procedures, technologies, and forensics to further their investigations.

- Worked on hundreds of cases with both state and local law enforcement.
- Identified complex crime patterns, trends, and case linkages.
- Assist in coordinating multi-agency investigations.
- Assessed and interpreted intelligence from police offense reports, offender, victim/witness statements and computerized data.
- Examined investigative data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Conducted local, state, and national research to identify similar cases. If similar cases were identified, Mr. Rabiega would help to facilitate coordination among the agencies.
- Mr. Rabiega provided training to hundreds of law enforcement personnel throughout the U.S. and Internationally.
