Brent Ehrenberger is a twenty year police officer for the Mesquite Police Department in Texas. While beginning his career as a patrol officer, he served as a field training officer before entering into the Criminal Investigations Division. Spending one year in the Forgery Unit, he is a former member of the Forgery Investigators of Texas association. Brent then transferred to the Crimes Against Persons Unit and conducted investigations into child deaths, abuse and adult sex crimes. He then transferred to the Major Crimes Unit and investigated homicides, death investigations, robberies and public integrity offenses. While assigned to Major Crimes, he began investigating cold case homicides and sexual assaults. Brent is a former member of Robbery Investigators of Texas.
Brent has over 14 years of investigative experience with extensive training in the investigative field. In addition to being a Master Peace Officer, he instructs in-service and basic police academy courses in criminal investigations, child abuse and report writing.
