Brittney ElliottBrittney Elliott has worked for the past eight years in local Arizona law enforcement. Her career began in 2014 as a Public Safety Dispatcher with the Mesa Police Department, where she worked until 2018. In 2015, Brittney completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology through Arizona State University.
In 2018, Brittney accepted a position with the Tempe Police Department as an Intelligence Specialist. During this time, Brittney worked closely with investigations and patrol by completing subject workups on a variety of crimes including: homicides, sexual crimes, robberies, and property crimes. In 2020, Brittney was hired as a Crime Analyst with the Mesa Police Department. The same year, she received her Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. |
As a patrol district analyst, Brittney assisted officers, detectives, crime prevention and command staff with tactical, strategic, and intelligence analysis. In 2021, Brittney was presented with the opportunity to join the Mesa homicide division. She continues to work directly with detectives on active and cold case homicides.
Brittney is an active member of the Arizona Association of Crime Analysts (AACA) and the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA).
