Christina GerkenChristina Gerken, currently resides in Florida where she is the Founder and Board Chair of the National Promise Coalition, a nonprofit, community based organization. The National Promise Coalition’s mission is to successfully help domestic violence survivor families achieve safety permanent independence and live free from abuse through awareness, education and advocacy.

From extensive research done, Christina and NPC realize the importance of creating a National Interstate Database for Children who are abused. Creating a uniform, national standard incorporating an interstate data exchange of child abuse and neglect cannot be understated. Unregulated custody transfers, disorganized or incomplete documentation of domestic abuse/neglect, and limited exchanges of the registries within the counties and states shows the need for a Criminal Justice Alert System for abused children.
NPC also focuses on educating youth, adults and those who help survivors of abuse with up-to-date facts and data. This is vital to closing the gap in the number of individuals becoming victims of abuse.
Christina is also the President of Align Consulting. A Consulting Company that focuses on strategy development and program implementation, providing a custom designed comprehensive solution that benefits small businesses, non-profits, organizations and industries. Align Consulting also focuses on connecting entities/organizations/government/judicial systems together with specific goals for profound community impact which become successful initiatives.
Christina has volunteered and sat on Boards for various nonprofit organizations throughout her professional career. attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point where she obtained her degree in Elementary Education and Graduate Level Health Education.
Christina is honored for the partnership with the Cold Case Foundation.
