Douglas TontoDouglas Tonto graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida and returned to the University where he graduated with honors with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. He completed an internship with the State of Florida Fire Marshal’s Office: Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigation. He was employed with a Fortune 6 Healthcare company for many years where he worked on complex issue resolution, including those involving, potential fraud and abuse and pre-litigation. Douglas transitioned his career to the public sector when he accepted a position with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) as a Crime/Public Safety Analyst. Crime Center (RTCC). The Real Time Crime Center allows for immediate support to be given to field units as events unfold. Additionally, Douglas, along with other analysts with the RTCC, assisted detectives and officers with their open investigations. Douglas has diversified public safety experience as he was Volunteer Firefighter/EMT and participated in real and simulated emergencies in both the Fire Department and as a former employee of a hospital emergency department.
