Jacqueline Boucher served over 25 years in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent. Her assignments included being a lead investigator for cases involving the violation of civil rights; public corruption committed by federal officials; fugitives who had fled their state to avoid prosecution; and identifying and thwarting terrorist threats. As a supervisor at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., she directed a team of analysts responsible for supporting complex counterterrorism investigations conducted in FBI Field Offices. Her duties included making requests for foreign government assistance via FBI Legal Attaché personnel abroad, and drafting applications seeking authority to conduct electronic surveillance to be considered by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. |
While a member of the U.S. diplomatic corps assigned to the FBI's Legal Attaché Office in Athens, Greece, she engaged with police and judicial authorities to address terrorism threats and crime trends of interest to the United States and the host country. She also facilitated the delivery of forensic training to Greek law enforcement personnel by FBI subject matter experts.
