Kelly ThibertBefore retiring in 2022, Kelly Thibert served nearly thirty years as a law enforcement officer for the City of Oregon Police Division in Ohio. She began her career as a patrol officer and soon was transferred to the detective bureau. In 2002, she was promoted to the rank of sergeant.
Over the next ten years she served as a road patrol sergeant, community affairs sergeant, communications sergeant and finally the detective sergeant. Kelly spent the last ten years of her career supervising the investigations unit. There she had the opportunity to investigate a wide variety of cases such as property crimes, sexual assaults, homicides and also re-opened her agency’s only cold case homicide from 1982. She spent nearly ten years working on that cold case and finally, with the help of advanced technology, was able to identify a suspect. |
