Lee natelborgLee is currently a Detective Sgt. with the Highland Police Department in Indiana and has been with the agency since 2006. He began his career as a patrol officer and moved on to tactical investigations before getting assigned to general assignment investigations. He has received the rank of Detective Cpl and now as Detective Sgt. He graduated from Indiana State University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology.
He has been involved in numerous narcotics investigations as well as homicides, robberies, burglaries, financial crimes, and sex crimes. He has extensive training in interview & interrogations, narcotics investigations, criminal investigations, and cell phone investigations. As a tactical officer he was assigned on a part time basis to assist the local county drug task force as well. |
He is his agencies internship coordinator and a certified law enforcement instructor. He is also a certified cell phone examiner. He has been involved with numerous homicide investigations as a member of the Northwest Indiana Major Crimes Task Force.
He has received numerous letters of commendation throughout his career including one for collaborating with the Cold Case Foundation on a 15 year old cold case from his agency that was eventually solved because of that team effort.
