EXPERIENCE
The majority of Linda's career was spend as a detective in the Crimes Against Persons Unit at both the municipal and state level; responsible as the case agent for the investigation of death cases (including homicide, suicide and accidental deaths), sexual assaults cases on adults and children, serious assaults, arson and robbery. As a CBI Agent, she was also involved in numerous officer involved shooting investigations and use of deadly force determinations. In 1990 Linda served on a multi-jurisdictional board that developed Colorado’s first Uniform Sexual Assault Kits and Protocol that was eventually approved by the Colorado Sheriff’s Association, Chief of Police and the District Attorney Associations. She assisted in the State-wide training of law enforcement, advocacy groups and medical personnel on the new procedures. In 2001 Linda again was asked to serve on the board that revised the Sexual Assault Kits and Protocols to include male and juvenile victims. |
In 1993 Linda worked with the Colorado Domestic Violence Coalition in the development of new laws and policies on domestic violence cases. She served on a team that provided state-wide training on the new laws. She has been involved in several high-profile cases andevents including the 1976 Big Thompson flood that killed 145 people, the Columbine High School shootings that resulted in 15 deaths and the JonBenet Ramsey child murder case. Linda also had a major role in Colorado’s first wrongful conviction case.

Have been asked to be a guest lecturer at numerous professional and public speaking events in Colorado and other states.
AWARDS: 2010 –Colorado’s 2010 Women of Influence Award and the Women of Courage Award for work done on the Timothy Master’s wrongful conviction case.

2001 – CBI Commendation; for a Racketeering Investigation.
