Patrick J. SagDahlPatrick comes to Cold Case Foundation with 44 years of Public Service in a wide variety of disciplines. More than a decade protecting our country while in the US military. There he learned attention to detail as a young man while in training and continued that same mental picture as an instructor training other’s during his tenure. As a retired Firefighter/Lieutenant he brought those same principles to the operations and administration aspects of emergency incidents, Fire Investigations, administration and management of shifts personnel and as a Fire and EMS Instructor for the county and dept. He has hundreds of fires under his belt with many resulting in an investigation,

documentation of the scene and collection of evidence. Over the years he has received numerous accolades and awards for his dedication to duty and community service. As a Criminal Investigator has seen and been a part of hundreds of cases, some higher profile. Maintained a large case load which included crimes from misdemeanors through Capitol crimes. He maintained and provided an organizational quality completeness of each case assigned. He also has 12 years as a Fugitive Recovery Agent for several counties and municipalities. During that experience, he was involved in surveillance, numerous captures and returns to detention facilities. As a Police Officer he was awarded Officer of the Year award after 2 years for his continued detailed work resulting in a quality completeness of cases, reports and inspections. Additionally, inspections and investigations were a part of everyday objectives while working the roads. He became a state law enforcement instructor for both the academy and agency/district personnel in control tactics and weapons training. While there, he became an expert in commerce and Commercial Vehicle Operations and Inspections. He worked with both Federal and State agencies to ensure the safe passage of CMV’s on our roadways.
